Flanders teachers donated cereal for the month of December to Southington Community Services. Way to go Flanders!

HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
The Southington Education Association donated $1 for each teacher in town and adopted a shelf at the Southington food pantry.
To keep our shelf in the pantry stocked, we will be holding food drives at each school throughout the year.

SEA: CELEBRATING OVER 100 YEARS
Originally formed in 1917 as the Southington Grade Teachers’ Club, 42 teachers—all women—held their first meeting at Lincoln School. Their mission was noted to “be toward the benefit and betterment of our teachers and public schools.” Today, with 570 teachers, the Southington Education Association (SEA) has the same mission. As we celebrate our centennial, we look forward to serving the community for another 100 years and beyond!
